As a specialized institution specializing in the treatment of chronic and difficult-to-heal wounds, our services at the WCC-WoundCareCenter are claimed from the health insurance companies via § 37 Para. 7 SGB V based on home health care.
As early as 2008, the WCC-WoundCareCenter set themselves the goal of significantly improving outpatient and specialized wound care for patients with chronic and/or difficult-to-heal wounds compared to the previous standard care by working together in a specialized and interdisciplinary network.
A closely meshed internal and external quality assurance at the specialist level and QM level is continuously documented and carried out in our operations. External specialist audits and QM audits are additionally carried out on average twice a year in our WCC-WoundCareCenter.

The system standard forms the basis for certification of organizations as a center of expertise in wound care (wound care center).
